1938 May DayTin Pinby Richard Sieper & Söhne of Lüdenscheid! This National Labor Day / May Day Tin Pin commemorate the public holiday devoted to the German working class, on the 1st of May every year. It is constructed out of an injection molded bakelite base that has been silver washed. The round shaped obverse features a man and a woman dancing with an umbrella above a national eagle (with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons) and “1. Mai 1938”.
The reverse is maker marked and has an oxidized steel, well working, clipped on pin.
